What is the Bayswater City Saints Netball Club (BCSNC) Youth Reference Group (YRG)?
BCSNC is providing young people with the opportunity to be heard and be active around the future of the Club and the engagement of young people in sporting clubs. There are a number of roles you can play at the BCSNC YRG, including:
- Leading a project/activity or fundraising event at the club
- Social media consultation and development
- Research and evaluation of BCSNC services
- Consultation around club development such as, player, umpire, coach development and engagement etc
- Peer support and mentoring
- Have the opportunity to have your say and direct youth sporting engagement at the BCSNC.
- Develop new skills
- Meet and work with other young people who are passionate about youth sporing engagement.
- Make a difference to youth physical and mental health
- Be a role model for the BCSNC
who can apply?
We are looking for anyone aged between year 9 and 20 years old who is going to be involved with the BCSNC in 2024 in either playing or coaching capacity. We are looking for about 8 additional young people to join the current group.
