2020 General Information

Training
Training begins 5-6pm Thursday 13 February 2020 for NSG-GO and Juniors only. NSG-Net and NSG-Set times will be advised at a later date.

Club Grading
We will be grading Net Set Go – Go Division only (9 & 10 year olds), Junior AM Division (11 & 12 year olds) and Juniors (13 – 17 years old)

First game of season
Saturday 2 May 2020 - During the first three weeks of the season, NNA grade the junior teams with any changes made by June.

Night games
There will be night games on Tuesday May 26 and Wednesday 27 for Junior teams.

General bye
Saturday 30th May 2020.

Last general game of season
TBC mid February. Finals to be played based on team competition grading and will be advised prior to the season commencing.

There will be a uniform try-on day at one of our first training sessions - date TBA.

Girls

BCSNC dress -annual hire $20 to be purchased here.
Plain black shorts / gym shorts which are not to come below the hem of the dress

Boys

7 or 8 years old in 2020

The Set tier is the first exposure for boys and girls to modified competition. The Set tier has an emphasis on building confidence and proficiency through non-competitive and equal opportunity play. The modified rules of the Set tier have been developed to provide an environment in which a participant can develop their understanding of the game and achieve success.

Progressing from the Set tier is the GO tier. The GO tier also has modified rules which are adapted in order to provide a smooth transition into junior netball (International Netball Federation rules).
